DAY 1: MARRAKECH- AIT BEN HADDOU – DADES VALLEY
We will pick you up in front of your hotel / bus station in Marrakesh and start your journey to the Dades Gorges, and across the Tizi’n’Tichka. You pass the Atlas Mountains, where you will enjoy far-reaching views across the Mountain. We will ride you to the traditional High Atlas Berber villages, and we continue to Ait Benhaddou to visit the UNESCO world heritage site of Ait Benhaddou; a spectacular fortified village (Ksour). You will have your lunch in Ait Benhaddou or Ouarzazate. Afterwards, our road continues to the Dades valley. You spend a night in a hotel in the Dades Gorges.
DAY 2: DADES GORGES TENGHIR TODRA GORGES – TINJDAD- ERFOUD- MERZOUGA NIGHT IN DESERT
After breakfast, you continue your trip to visit the Erg Chebbi Sahara desert, next to Merzouga. Berber villages are scattered along the way. You pass through Tinjdad, Jorf and Erfoud. You arrive to Merzouga, where after relaxing for a few minutes, you ride the camels which will be waiting to take you on an adventure in the sand dunes. You spend a night in a camp (nomad Berber tents) where you are going to listen to the music with drums. When you arrive to the camp in an oasis, you can choose to hike to the high dunes to see a sunset.
DAY 3: CAMEL TREKKING BACK TO MERZOUGA – BERBER VILLAGES – OUARZAZATE
After seeing a sunrise in the desert, you ride back on the camels to Merzouga. There, in a hotel, you will have a breakfast and could choose to take a shower. Afterwards, we are going to take you to Ouarzazate through the Berber villages (Tinjdad, Tenghir, Todra Gorges Boumalene du Dades). You arrive to Ouarzazate in the evening / at night.
DAY4 : OUARZAZATE –BERBER VILLAGES –ATLAS MOUNTAINS – BACK TO MARRAKECH
After a breakfast in your hotel, you start your journey to visit Ouarzazate site, where you will have the chance to visit the known places: Taourirt Kasbah, and Tifeltout Kasbah (a cinema and a studio): After that, you are heading towards the majestic Atlas Mountains. You cross the High Atlas via the highest road pass in Morocco – Tizi’n’Tichka; 2260 m – that offers the impressive views of valleys, mountains, and many Berber villages. We arrive in Marrakech in the evening / at night.
