4 days trip: marrakech desrt tour and camel trekking

Day 1: Marrakech – Zagora

We will depart from Marrakech traveling to the south, crossing the most beautiful Morocco’s high atlas mountains, passing through the Tizi ntichka pass (2260m high) towards the Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, here you can walk and discover “the fortified city”-one of the historical extraordinary castles situated on a little high mountain over the Ounila valley, that provides amazing views, it is now a Unisco world heritage site under protection, and after having our lunch in the Kasbah , we’ll  continue to Ouarzazate known as Hollywood of Africa, here you will have chance to visit another famous Kasbah in the heart of the city (Taourirt) was built on prime commercial real-estate, after that we’ll drive to cross the Anti-Atlas mountains( Saghru)  passing through many Berber villages Agdz and the Draa valley( country of dates) with its date palms, to Zagora where you will spent the night.

Day 2: Zagora – chgaga( Mhamid, chgaga dunes)

After the breakfast, we will leave Zagora to Erg Chgaga passing through many desert villages (Mhamid elghizlan) along the Draa valley with different landscapes, and have stops to make photos before we drive to our Bivouac where we will spend the night sleeping under stars or in a traditional Berber nomad tent.

Day 3: Chegaga – lake Iriki – Foum Zguid – Taznakht –Ouarzazat

In the morning we will take a different route to Ouarzazat passing through a dry and the natural lake of IRIKI on the Paris Dakar road, after a long way driving in the piste we will get the road to the village of Foum-Zguid, then we’ll continue our way driving on a stony desert arriving  the town of Taznakht, one of the famous and biggest center of the carpets in Morocco, before we arrive Ouarzazate or the quite city where we will spend the night.

Day 4 Ouarzazate – Marrakech

After breakfast in the hotel/Riad, we will leave Ouarzazate (the cinema city) traveling to Marrakech through high Atlas Mountains and Tizi N’tichka pass that connects Marrakech with the pre-Sahara oases, during our way back, we’ll enjoy the valley landscapes and the red-clay houses, stopping in the panoramic views of the valley to make photos, or to have a drink in one of the restaurants along the road, arriving Marrakech where our trip ends.
